Trong cuộc sống, có những lúc chúng ta đã bị chôn vùi bởi hoàn cảnh, bởi thử thách, bởi khó khăn nhưng kết quả cuối cùng lại là sự bình an và chiến thắng. Đó là bởi ân điển lớn lao của Chúa. Ân điển ấy bày tỏ cho chúng ta thấy sự tốt lành và vĩ đại của Đức Chúa Trời mà chúng ta đang tôn kính và hầu việc.

Chữ “ân điển” được định nghĩa là một ân huệ được ban cho mà không cần đáp lại. Ân điển ấy được Đức Chúa Trời ban cho con người không xứng đáng như chúng ta. Và khi chúng ta tiếp nhận ân điển bởi đức tin, thì ân điển đó hoàn toàn biến đổi chúng ta, khiến chúng ta trở nên yêu Chúa và sống xứng đáng cho Ngài.

Tôi hy vọng bạn có thể nhìn lại những thời điểm, những hoàn cảnh trong cuộc đời và nói với chính bản thân mình rằng, “đó là bởi ân điển lớn lao của Chúa”. Chính tôi đã được trải nghiệm ân điển lớn lao của Chúa, ân điển ấy lớn lao đến mức mười năm sau khi nghĩ lại tôi vẫn cúi đầu: “Cảm ơn Chúa vì sự giúp đỡ và tình yêu thương mà Ngài đã dành cho chính con”. Quả thật, tôi không biết mình sẽ phải bắt đầu như thế nào, song bởi những điều Chúa đã làm cho tôi, tôi tin rằng những gì tôi làm chứng ở đây sẽ là một bằng cớ sống để tôi tôn vinh Chúa suốt cuộc đời mình.

Ma túy đến với tôi rất sớm so với những bạn cùng trang lứa. Mùa hè năm 2000 sau khi kết thúc mùa thi tốt nghiệp cấp 3, tôi và một số bạn thân cùng phố đã tìm đến ma túy như một thú tiêu khiển giống như bia rượu. Lúc ấy tôi chưa tin Chúa và đối với tôi những thứ này chính là niềm vui của cuộc sống. Không ai trong chúng tôi hiểu biết về ma túy, chúng tôi chơi ma túy theo phong trào và cơn lũ ấy đã quét tôi cùng bốn người bạn từ lúc nào không biết. Cuối năm 2005, một người bạn của tôi đã từ giã cõi đời vì bị nhiễm HIV, cú sốc ấy quá lớn khiến tôi từ bỏ sử dụng ma tuý.

Thế nhưng, sau hai năm mọi chuyện nguôi ngoai và quyết tâm của tôi dường như đã biến mất, tôi bắt đầu tái sử dụng. Cứ như vậy, tôi nghiện hút ngày càng nặng. Đến khi quyết định lấy vợ, tập trung vào sự nghiệp, tôi nghĩ có lẽ đây là cơ hội để tôi thoát khỏi cơn mê này. Nhưng ma quỷ không tầm thường như tôi nghĩ, nó dập tắt quyết tâm của tôi, đưa tôi vào vũng bùn nhơ của thế gian và khiến tôi không thể buông bỏ được. Tôi dường như một kẻ điên có thể làm bất cứ điều gì vì ma tuý. Tôi lừa vợ bán xe, nói dối, lấy trộm tiền gia đình, lấy tiền của vợ, thậm chí tôi chửi rủa, gào thét, đập phá đồ đạc trong nhà mình để doạ họ phải đưa tiền cho tôi… Những cảnh tượng kinh hoàng ấy cứ liên tục diễn ra trong cuộc đời tôi. Cuộc sống tôi cô đơn, lạnh lẽo, càng cô đơn, bản thân lại lao vào ma tuý nhiều hơn. Khi đó, Chúa đã đến với gia đình tôi, song với bản tính kiêu ngạo, tôi đã từ chối Chúa vì tôi nghĩ tôi sẽ tự làm được. Thế nhưng gia đình tôi vẫn cứ luôn cầu nguyện và giúp đỡ tôi, nhiều lần đưa tôi đến nhà thờ, cho tôi biết ân điển của Chúa nhưng tôi vẫn khước từ.

Tôi ngày càng tệ hại hơn, nhưng Chúa vẫn yêu tôi ngay cả khi tôi từ chối tiếp nhận ân điển của Ngài. Những người xung quanh tôi biết được, họ tố cáo tôi và rồi tôi bị bắt đi cai nghiện tại trung tâm của nhà nước. Hai năm sau tôi được ra trại, về đến nhà tôi gặp lại vợ con, gặp lại gia đình, tôi mừng rỡ lắm. Gia đình tôi dốc lòng cầu nguyện và giúp tôi tìm hiểu về Chúa Giê-xu thì đến ngày 30/9/2012 tôi quyết định tiếp nhận Chúa. Tôi đến Hội Thánh thờ phượng Chúa và sinh hoạt cùng với mọi người ở đây.

Ồ, hoá ra ở đây rất hoà đồng, mọi người không coi khinh tôi mà đối xử với tôi rất ấm áp. Nhưng lúc đó tôi vẫn còn rất cứng lòng, tôi nghĩ Tin Lành chỉ là một thứ tôn giáo và Tin Lành có lẽ tốt hơn những tôn giáo khác mà thôi. Lợi dụng một đứa còn yếu đức tin, ma quỷ đã lôi kéo bản ngã xác thịt tôi trở lại với rượu bia, hút thuốc và kinh khủng hơn là tôi bắt tay lại với ma tuý. Nhiều anh chị em trong Hội Thánh biết được đã khuyên bảo tôi lên trung tâm cai nghiện của Tin Lành nhưng tôi từ chối, cho đến một ngày dường như Chúa cáo trách tôi, tôi thú tội với vợ tôi và quyết định lên trung tâm cai nghiện để thay đổi.

Ân điển của Chúa đã biến đổi tôi, khiến tôi trở nên một người chiến thắng

Tạ ơn Chúa, tại đây, tôi được học Lời Chúa, học về tình yêu của Chúa, được hát tôn vinh Chúa mỗi sáng, được quyền năng Ngài biến đổi. Tôi nhận biết con người xấu xa đầy tội lỗi của tôi và ăn năn với Chúa, tôi cầu xin Chúa giúp tôi tránh xa tội lỗi và lìa bỏ ma tuý. Tôi đã từng đi cai nghiện ở trại nhà nước và tôi biết không phải cứ nỗ lực, cố gắng nhờ sức bản thân mà sẽ được, nhưng chỉ khi tin Chúa Giê-xu, tin vào Lời Chúa trong Kinh Thánh và nhờ quyền năng của Thánh Linh mới có thể thay đổi và thoát ra khỏi tội lỗi. Thật vậy, ân điển của Ngài đã biến đổi tôi, cho tôi được bình an, được thoát ra khỏi vũng bùn ma tuý và khiến tôi trở nên một người chiến thắng.

Tôi không biết phải cảm ơn Chúa như thế nào với những ân điển lớn lao Ngài đã tuôn đổ trên cuộc đời tôi. Nhìn lại những gì đã trải qua, tôi chỉ biết cúi đầu cảm tạ Chúa. Giờ đây tôi không còn hút thuốc, uống bia rượu và sử dụng ma tuý nữa. Chúa cho tôi có đứa con thứ hai và một gia đình hạnh phúc trong Chúa. Gia đình tôi yêu mến Chúa và phục vụ Ngài trong Hội Thánh. Có lẽ điều tôi vui nhất là sự giải phóng mà Chúa ban cho tôi. Nguyện xin Chúa dùng cuộc đời tôi trở nên nhân chứng tốt đẹp về ân điển lớn lao của Ngài cho nhiều người, để qua đó chúng ta có thể thấy sự tốt lành và vĩ đại của Đức Chúa Trời mà chúng ta đang tôn kính và hầu việc.
