“Ngày nay chúng ta xem như trong một cái gương, cách mập mờ: Đến bấy giờ chúng ta sẽ thấy hai mặt đối nhau; ngày nay tôi biết chưa hết: Đến bấy giờ tôi sẽ biết như Chúa đã biết tôi vậy.” ( I Cô-rinh-tô 13:12)

Khi chăm sóc cho đứa cháu lên ba, tôi phải thường xuyên trả lời những câu hỏi tại sao mà cháu tôi đặt ra. Có những câu hỏi tôi có thể trả lời một cách hiển nhiên và thỏa đáng, nhưng cũng có những câu hỏi mà tôi thấy thật khó để giải thích cho một đứa trẻ lên ba hiểu được. Trong lĩnh vực giáo dục, tư vấn tâm lý, tôi thường nghe nói trẻ em thích đặt câu hỏi là những đứa trẻ có đầu óc tò mò, thích khám phá để tìm hiểu những gì đang diễn ra xung quanh. Càng hỏi thì bộ não càng phát triển, thế giới càng được mở rộng ra đối với con trẻ.

Cháu tôi hỏi “tại sao” vì nó gần như chưa có nhiều thông tin về cuộc sống. Nhưng tôi cũng thấy mình vẫn thường hỏi “tại sao”, bởi vì chương trình của Chúa không diễn ra theo cách mà tôi suy nghĩ, “Đức Giê-hô-va phán: Ý tưởng ta chẳng phải ý tưởng các ngươi, đường lối các ngươi chẳng phải đường lối ta” (Ê-sai 55:8).

Chúng ta có rất nhiều câu hỏi “tại sao?”

Khi dịch bệnh Covid-19 bùng phát và lây lan nhanh chóng ở TP. Hồ Chí Minh, tôi nghe tin con trai tôi đang học trong Viện Thánh Kinh Thần Học cùng một số thầy cô khác cũng đang bị sốt và khó thở, rất có khả năng bị nhiễm bệnh Covid-19. Cảm thấy như sét đánh ngang tai, tôi dường như rơi vào trạng thái khủng hoảng, thêm vào đó thành phố đang thực hiện Chỉ thị 16, việc đi lại, chăm sóc và tiếp tế vô cùng khó khăn. Hoàn cảnh như vậy càng khiến tôi lo lắng và bất an nhiều hơn.

Trước những khó khăn và đầy dẫy lo sợ, tôi chỉ biết đến với Chúa, khóc lóc kêu cầu Ngài. Tôi đặt ra những câu hỏi “tại sao” và vô cùng mong muốn được Chúa giải thích cho mình. Những câu hỏi mà tôi đặt ra không nhằm mục đích oán trách Chúa, giận dỗi Chúa, nhưng tôi chỉ ao ước Chúa tỏ ra để mình có thể nhận biết và nhìn thấy được chương trình của Chúa và nhẹ nhàng chấp nhận. Có lẽ Ngài nhìn thấy được thái độ và mục đích sự cầu nguyện của tôi nên lúc ấy Ngài nhẹ nhàng đặt vào lòng tôi một câu “con ơi, hãy chờ đợi Ta! vì ý tưởng Ta lúc nào cũng tốt lành cho kẻ tin Ngài. Con không nhớ sao? Ta đã yêu kẻ thuộc về mình trong thế gian, và Ta cứ yêu cho đến cuối cùng”. Trong cơn khốn đốn ấy, dù cho những tin tức xấu chứ liên tục được cập nhập và thông báo, dù cho chính tôi cũng như đang đứng trên than lửa đỏ, nhưng bởi đức tin, tôi luôn bình an tin vào sự tể trị của Chúa rằng Ngài có chương trình tốt đẹp trên con cái yêu dấu của Ngài.

Trong khó khăn tôi nhận thấy Chúa có mở đường. Chúa cho tôi nhờ được người có giấy thông hành để mang thuốc và những nhu yếu phẩm cần thiết đến với con tôi và những thầy cô khác trong Viện. Không chỉ gia đình tôi nhưng Hội Thánh và tôi con Chúa ở khắp nơi, không chỉ tại Việt Nam mà trên toàn thế giới cũng hướng lòng về Viện trong sự cầu thay và hỗ trợ. Hơn bao giờ hết, tôi nhìn thấy tinh thần hiệp một và tương trợ nhau trong Thân thể Đấng Christ.

Cảm tạ Chúa sau vài ngày, con tôi dần dần bình phục, hết sốt và hồi phục lại khứu giác. Hầu hết sinh viên và những nhân viên, kể cả gia đình Mục sư giám thị đều được chữa lành bởi sự thương xót và quyền năng diệu kỳ của Chúa, tất cả đã và đang phục hồi tốt. Tuy nhiên, cơn thử thách đó cũng để lại một số mất mát khi có 2 sinh viên qua đời. Tôi hiểu rằng chắc chắn vẫn sẽ có những câu hỏi “tại sao” vang lên, nhưng với lòng tin cậy Chúa và kinh nghiệm Chúa luôn tốt lành trong chương trình của Ngài cho mỗi người, câu trả lời sẽ được Chúa bày tỏ trong ngày chúng ta gặp Ngài.

Đối diện với những khó khăn, nhất là sống trong tâm dịch giữa thời điểm này, lắm lúc chúng ta nghĩ rằng nan đề, thử thách này thực sự quá khủng khiếp. Nhưng hãy nhớ lại tấm gương Chúa Giê-xu của chúng ta. Chính Ngài cũng đã từng đối diện cuộc chiến khủng khiếp với kẻ thù tại vườn Ghết-sê-ma-nê. Ngài đối diện với thế lực tối tăm, Ngài đối diện sự đau đớn của thân thể và đau thương của tâm hồn khi chính Đức Chúa Cha và môn đồ đều ngoảnh mặt với Ngài. Thế nhưng, Chúa Giê-xu không hề oán trách hay than van vì Ngài nhận biết được chương trình của Đức Chúa Cha và bước đi trong sự vâng phục trọn vẹn. Ngài chiến đấu với mọi kẻ thù vây quanh bằng sự cầu nguyện và chính năng lực ấy khiến mọi thế lực tối tăm khiếp sợ. Trước khi lìa khỏi thế gian, Ngài tuyên bố “mọi việc đã được trọn”.

Có một điều làm tôi trăn trở là dù Chúa Giê-xu không hề đặt câu hỏi “tại sao” với Đức Chúa Cha, nhưng Ngài hỏi “tại sao” với các môn đồ. Trong lúc đối diện với sự thương khó, với thập tự giá, với quyền lực tối tăm, Ngài dẫn nhưng môn đồ thân tín nhất cùng với mình đến một nơi thanh vắng cầu nguyện. Trong khi Ngài chiến đấu cách đau thương, đến nỗi “mồ hôi trở nên như giọt máu rơi xuống đất” thì các môn đồ lại ngủ mê. Và Ngài đã hỏi họ “tại sao”: “Sao các ngươi ngủ? Hãy đứng dậy cầu nguyện, để cho khỏi sa vào sự cám dỗ” (Lu-ca 22:46). Hoàn cảnh càng khó khăn, Chúa muốn chúng ta càng phải tỉnh thức và chiến đấu trong sự cầu nguyện, để nhận biết và vâng phục chương trình của Chúa thay vì lo sợ, bất an mà đánh mất đức tin, niềm hy vọng nơi Ngài.

Dịch bệnh khiến cho nhiều người trong chúng ta mất việc, mất nguồn thu nhập, mất sức khoẻ và thậm chí mất đi người thân yêu duy nhất. Chắc hẳn trong hoàn cảnh ấy, chúng ta không thể tránh khỏi những câu hỏi “tại sao” với Chúa. Nhưng Chúa mời gọi chúng ta hãy đến với Ngài trong sự cầu nguyện và đức tin thuận phục. Chắc chắn Chúa sẽ bày tỏ cho chúng ta thấy chương trình tốt đẹp của Ngài.

Trong lò lửa thử thách, đừng nhìn xuống nan đề mà oán trách Chúa, nhưng hãy hướng mắt nhìn lên với tấm lòng trông cậy, “vì Ngài đã yêu kẻ thuộc về mình trong thế gian, thì cứ yêu cho đến cuối cùng” (Giăng 13:1). Đừng hỏi “tại sao Chúa lại làm như vậy” nhưng hãy hỏi “tại sao tôi không tỉnh thức và cầu nguyện trong lúc này?”
